I’m excited to share a milestone that means a lot to me: my YouTube channel, Retire Without Borders, has officially reached 1,000 subscribers!
When I started this channel, I had a simple idea. Retirement shouldn’t have to mean staying in the same place, following the same routine, or spending a fortune just to enjoy the years we’ve worked so hard for.
I wanted to explore a different possibility: What if retiring overseas could offer not just a lower cost of living, but a better quality of life?
And apparently, I’m not the only one asking that question!
From an Idea to a Growing Community
Over the course of creating videos about retirement destinations, international living, healthcare, visas, and the real costs of retiring abroad, I’ve discovered something encouraging.
There are a lot of Americans who are curious about what life might look like beyond our borders.
Some are dreaming about retiring on a beach in Mexico. Others are considering Portugal, Spain, Malaysia, or Thailand. And some simply want to know whether their retirement savings might stretch further somewhere else.
That’s what makes this channel so rewarding.
It’s not just about beautiful destinations or finding the cheapest place to live. It’s about helping people make informed decisions about one of the most important chapters of their lives.
